Blockstream, a global leader in Bitcoin infrastructure and financial technology solutions, today announced the launch of Blockstream Consulting Services and the opening of a new office in Lugano, Switzerland. The expansion strengthens Blockstream’s presence in Europe and provides banks, asset managers and other financial institutions with direct access to the company’s engineering expertise and Bitcoin infrastructure solutions.
Blockstream Consulting Services combines the company’s engineering and research capabilities with market expertise to support financial institutions in the evaluation, design and implementation of Bitcoin-based financial infrastructure. From its base in Lugano, Blockstream will support institutional clients across Switzerland, including key financial centers such as Zurich, Geneva and Zug.
Founded in 2014, Blockstream has over a decade of experience developing Bitcoin infrastructure, with capabilities spanning cryptography, protocol engineering, security and financial technology. The new consulting business draws on this experience, bringing together multidisciplinary teams to provide institutions with direct access to Blockstream’s technical expertise.

Blockstream Consulting Services will draw on the company’s technology and research capabilities to develop institutional solutions for tokenized asset issuance, confidential settlement, and Bitcoin-based financial infrastructure. Services will span technical strategy, system architecture, integration and implementation, providing institutions with expertise from initial evaluation through implementation.
