Use the form on blockstream.com/local to sign up for the Blockstream Local initiative.

  1. Register: Sign up your Bitcoin meetup on the Blockstream Local site.
  2. Prepare Workshop: Download and use the Bitcoin 101 slide deck.
  3. Announce Publicly: Post the date, time, location, and a BTC address on X or Nostr. Tag @blockstream.
  4. Follow Up: DM us to confirm we’ve seen your announcement and to share your BTC address if needed.
  5. Run Your Session: Distribute sats and help attendees set up their wallets.
  6. Share Results: Post photos or a recap so we can help amplify your meetup.

Each meetup can request BTC once per quarter.

  1. Complete Your First Session Run a meetup with real BTC and share proof.
  2. Request Your Jade: DM @blockstream to ask for up to 3 Jade Classics.
  3. Receive Your Code: We’ll send you a coupon code to order free Jades from the Blockstream Store.
  4. Plan Ahead: Allow time for shipping so your Jades arrive before your next meetup.
  5. Announce Publicly: Post your event details when you plan your next session and tag @blockstream.
  6. Share Results: Post photos or videos from your Jade session—we may feature your meetup.
